TC is delighted to welcome English County Cricketer Lewis McManus to our coaching ranks for this summer.

Lewis is an English professional cricketer for Hampshire County Cricket Club. He is a Wicket Keeper-Batsman who came through the Academy program at Hampshire before signing his first professional contract at the age of 18.

He played in a number of England Under 19 series against the likes of Pakistan and Bangladesh both in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. Since then he has progressed through the Second team at Hampshire before breaking into the 1st team and making his debut in 2015. In his second game he made 53* to help his side save the game against Durham which helped them keep Division 1 status the for next season.

Lewis has played 32 First class games, 32 One Day games and 27 T20’s with a highest score in First class cricket of 132* against Surrey. Lewis also played every game in the Royal London One day cup winning side in 2018 when Hampshire lifted the trophy at Lords in July.

During his career so far and his progression through the academy at Hampshire, Lewis understands the hard work and dedication required at the highest level both on and off the field, the importance of Strength & Conditioning and nutrition are also a massive part of succeeding.

This summer Lewis is in Melbourne playing for Camberwell Magpies to develop his cricket career further and to experience Australian grade cricket.
